Charlie the Golden Guernsey Goat
Golden Guernsey's are a rare breed of goat that are on the minority list of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust, Golden Guernsey goats have a nice and docile temperament which is ideal for a small holder who wants to produce goat’s milk. The breed can be traced back to the 1820’s and originally came from the island of Guernsey. The breed was nearly wiped out during WW2 when the Germans occupied the island and slaughtered many of the livestock.
